Welcome to Arts Alive

I am not here just to make a living - I am here to make a difference". This was the way Kathleen Gaynor Ferris lived and how in death she is remembered. Her love of the arts and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of people in our community inspired her son and friends to create the Arts Alive benefit event so that Kathleen Gaynor Ferris would continue to make a difference in the lives of people in our community. With the annual Arts Alive Art Auction and 5 Mile Run/Walk on April 11-12, 2008, we are making sure that quality of life is always a cornerstone in the lives of patients, families and staff of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services.

Because of our incredible local artists, our 3rd Art Auction promises to provide a treasure for everyone. Di Diederich, our 2008 featured artist, is working on an original piece just for you. The 2nd Arts Alive 5 mile Run/Walk, hosted by Baer's Beverage, promises to again be Wausau's premier early season running event.

Mark your calendars for April 11-12 and share in making life the best it can be for all of those in our community.
