Arts Alive Auction
The Arts Alive art auction and run/walk is a memorial event in honor of Kathleen Gaynor Ferris, who passed away under hospice care. Kathleen's son and friends have coordinated this event to support hospice and palliative care patients and families of north central Wisconsin. Past Featured Artists include
- 2006 - Julie Dahl, Mosinee - primary medium of oil on canvas conveying an organic quality in line and color
- 2007 - Garrett Arnold, Wausau - glass artwork specializing in glassblowing
- 2008 - Di Diederich, Minocqua - art in acrylics, silkscreen, technical pens and epoxy resin
- 2009 - Students of local high schools featuring creative designs in multiple media
- 2010 - David Anthony Hummer, Wausau - featuring a piece executed in both color pencil and graphite
