Project Hope - our 2011 featured artists
How would you paint "Hope"?

The Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum,
Marathon County
Head
Start and Aspirus
Comfort Care and Hospice Services are
participating
in a program called "Project
Hope," where children
are working together
to create an art project to support
and
supplement the 2011 Arts Alive event.
More than 200 children
from the
head start program will create
five abstract
pieces of art using
the theme of "hope." Each child
will contribute something
to one of
the pieces of artwork
based on
what the word "hope" means to
them,
and some of the pieces
may
be
available for purchase during the
Arts
Alive art auction on
April 15.
"Project Hope"
is a 10-session,
five-week
program that runs
throughout March.
