About ArtsAlive
Proceeds Have Supported
Arts Alive Events over the past four years have raised more than $80,000 which have been donated to support hospice and palliative care patients and families of north central Wisconsin. Initial proceeds were used towards the completion of the respite garden at Hospice House which was dedicated in September, 2007 and provides patients, families, volunteers and staff a peaceful place for reflection, meditation and exercise.
Arts Alive Weekend funds have also been used to help support a local Compassionate Friends Grief Support Group, create the Kathleen Gaynor Ferris endowment fund, purchase electronic lift beds and new window coverings for the Aspirus Hospice House and outdoor furniture for the patio and gazebo.
We will continue to work towards providing support for patients and families of north central Wisconsin who need hospice and palliative care.
